Abstract

1412420 Repeater power supplies MARCONI CO Ltd 21 Dec 1972 ]12 Feb 1972] 6664/72 Heading H4R Current flowing between earth and the floating nominal earth point 40 of a balanced power supply 35A, 35B for repeaters 1-14, 16-29 is detected 41 and utilized 42 to reduce the earth current to zero whilst maintaining constant loop current to power the repeaters. Any other balanced supplies 36A, 36B have earthed centre points 38. Detected current above a threshold indicates a fault in one of the supply sections 35A, 35B.
