Abstract

1411090 Reinforcement spacers K D GLEISBERG 28 Nov 1972 [30 Dec 1971] 60875/71 Heading E1W A reinforcement spacer is formed of concrete and is of the form of a truncated cone with a sinusoidal section groove 8 in its upper surface. The spacer may be provided with flanges 13, 14 over which an elastic loop may be secured to hold the spacer onto the reinforcement lying in the groove 8. The spacers may be formed by casting concrete into a plastics mould faced with concrete resistant epoxy resin. The spacer may be provided with a locating lug or recess, not shown, on its base to cooperate with the shuttering.
