Abstract
140,811. Siemens - Schuckertwerke. March 29, 1916, [Convention date]. Field magnets, dampers on poles of.-Rings n of copper &c. which beoome plastic under the action of centrifugal force serve to convey current between the active parts s of damping windings and their end connexions, such as the bronze end covers k. The rings are preferably of trapeziform cross-section and are placed in grooves formed by chamfering the adjacent edges of the rotor sides f and end covers k. The solid teeth of the rotor may act as damping bars.
