1407914 Releasable fastenings INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORP 19 Oct 1973 [6 Nov 1972] 48756/73 Heading E2B A stud-and-socket coupling for fastening a magnetic disk memory actuator in a head carriage comprises a coupling pin 244 which is rotated 90‹ and axially moved against spring 246 by a shaft 260, so that it enters a keyholeshaped hole 228 and projecting pins 226 engage with spring pressure against near surface 224. Exact location is provided by stops 238, 240 and 242, 236, the latter engaging in a slot 234. During rotation of the shaft 260, axial movement of the coupling pin is provided by a roller-bearing eccentric 262, and rotation by a headed pin 252 projecting from the coupling pin and engaging slidably in a slot 258 in a body 264 on the shaft 260.
