Abstract

1406951 Pneumatic conveyers CROWN ZELLERBACH CORP 30 April 1973 [22 May 1972] 20541/73 Heading B8A [Also in Division F2] In a pneumatic conveyer, a jet produced by a coanda nozzle 34 deflects particles entrained in a fluid stream round a corner 12, so that they do not impinge on the wall 64 but are sucked back into the fluid flow attached to wall 66. Screen 58 substantially excludes the entrained particles. In another form, the nozzle (96, Fig. 3, not shown) is positioned on the other side of the duct.
