Abstract

1406759 Rotary positive-displacement fluidmachines TUKIEM TRUST REG 16 May 1973 [25 May 1972] 23345/73 Heading F1F A peristaltic pump for a pasty cement-based material e.g. mortar or concrete, has a pumping tube 10 compressed by rollers 12 on a rotary spider 11 and supported by a flat bed 9, which can be displaced downwardly about a pivot 3 against the action of at least one spring 8 so as to obviate undue pressure on the material being pumped. The springs may be adjustable by a screw 6 and the spider may carry loose rollers 19 that engage with a stop 18 to limit compression of the tube. The tube may be furnished with ribs 20 that co-operate with corresponding teeth 21, 22 on the rollers 12 and bed 9. The spider may be driven by a motor 13 and the said material may be sucked into the tube from a trough 15. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1347642.
