Abstract

1405780 Portable traffic barriers ALEXANDER KENYON & CO Ltd [trading as REDMAN ROAD SIGNS] 30 Nov 1973 [5 Dec 1972] 55977/72 Headings E1B and E1G A portable traffic barrier comprises a horizontal lazy-tongs A<SP>1</SP>, or a horizontal plank, Fig. 1 (not shown), extending between a pair of road marker cones C and supported thereon in brackets B, each bracket comprising two upstanding parallel arms b connected at their lower ends to an inverted U-member b<SP>1</SP>-b<SP>2</SP> embracing the cone. Each bracket has a projection b<SP>3</SP> entering a hole in the cone top. The cone base is of metal and may be held by weights c<SP>2</SP>. The Specification also discloses wire frames, Figs. 3, 5 (not shown) for respectively connecting two barrier planks (A) either at right angles (Fig. 3), on an intermediate cone and bracket, or simply aligned (Fig. 5).
