Abstract

1405524 Cabinets; cabinet linings W SCHNEIDER & CO 24 Oct 1973 [26 Oct 1972] 49661/73 Headings A4B and A4U A container, which may form the body of a bathroom cabinet, comprises a box-like unitary moulding with a back wall 5 and side walls 1-4 and formed of hard foam plastics, the side walls 1-4 being fitted with cladding members 8-11 having U-section portions a-c which completely cover the side walls 1-4 over their inner and outer faces and free front edges. A cover sheet 7 may be fitted over the inner face of the back wall 5 with tongues g engaged in grooves 13 in a pair of opposed sides 1, 3. The cladding members 8-11 have lower edge tongues e which interfit with tongues g, i at the periphery of the cover sheet 7. The cladding members 8-11 and cover sheet 7 may be of metal. A flange d on the cladding members 8-11 engages behind the back wall 5 and may be formed with a crimp (m), Figs. 10, 11 (not shown) to positively engage in the foamed material. The container may carry a hinged door 6 fitted with a mirror and may be subdivided into compartments.
