Abstract
1403971 Compressors DANFOSS AS 11 Sept 1972 [14 Sept 1971] 42104/72 Heading F1N [Also in Division F2] A motor compressor 1 is suspended in a sealed casing 3, 4 by a plurality of helical springs 19, each spring being fixed to a supporting element 18 hinged to a carrier 17 welded to the casing. Each supporting element 18 is composed of a first part 22 which extends into the casing and receives the spring and an angled second part 23 provided with lugs 24 which co-operate with hooked ends 25 on the carrier thereby to form the hinge. To facilitate assembly of the motor compressor to the casing, the supporting elements are pivoted through 180 degrees whereby the parts 22 extend outwardly through the casing opening 5 later sealed by the casing cover 4.
