Abstract
1403555 Gas separation NISSAN MOTOR CO Ltd 19 Sept 1972 [21 Sept 1971] 43347/72 Heading C1A [Also in Division B1] Exhaust gases are purified by oxidation of hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide or by reduction of nitrogen oxides in the presence of a catalyst comprising a carrier and oxides of Cr, Ni and Pd which contains 0À1-3À5 g.- atoms total Ni+Cr and at least 0À0003 g.- atoms Pd per litre of catalyst. The catalysts may also comprise in the catalytic oxide mixture oxides of Cu, Al, Zr, Bi and/or V.
