1403527 Error checking arrangements PLESSEY CO Ltd 9 Nov 1972 [12 Nov 1971] 52624/71 Heading G4A During transmission of an address word from a CPU to a store, a check code is generated from the address word and subsequently the check code is compared with a check code generated from the address word as received at the store. The same checking procedure may be employed with data words as well as with the address words in a storage write operation. Specification 1,297,836 is referred to.
