Abstract

1402759 Nozzles W H HUSKISSON 8 Jan 1973 [26 June 1972] 29754/72 Heading B2F [Also in Division F2] A device for diffusing liquids into walls comprises a reservoir for the liquid and a metal (e.g. copper) tube having a liquid inlet at one end and holes in its walls through which the liquid can pass, each hole being very small (of the order of 0.003 inch) and formed at the bottom of an indent punched in the surface of the tube. The remote end of the tube is preferably closed. The tube is inserted into a wall to be treated and connected e.g. by an elbow to the reservoir. Flow of the liquid can be controlled by a bung having a hole therethrough, in the elbow.
