Abstract

140,213. Marsden, T., and Marsden, H. T. March 28, 1919. Hinges readily separable about hinge pins.- The hinge of the lid c of a can, bottle, &c. comprises a part a secured to the lid and formed with a slot d to receive a pin e mounted at both ends in another part b secured to the receptacle f. A projection g acts as a stop to prevent turning of the lid past the vertical position in which the lid may be removed from the receptacle. The hinge. parts may be reversed.
