1401878 Monitoring grain flow MASCHINENFABRIK FAHR AG 11 Dec 1972 [23 Dec 1971] 57122/72 Heading G1A In a device for measuring and/or controlling grain loss from a straw-shaker 1 of a combine harvester, the amount of grain falling through an aperture 2 is measured by a source 5 and detector 6, the arrangement being of the beam interruption type, the detector's output being fed to a bridge circuit 8 connected to an amplifier 9 feeding a meter 10 and/or a speed controller for the strawshaker or the combine harvester itself.
