Abstract

1401701 Binding conductor pairs WESTERN ELECTRIC CO Inc 29 June 1972 [29 June 1971] 30537/72 Heading B8G [Also in Divisions D1 and H1] Pairs 23 of conductors are bound together by passing them through a rotating spindle 223 of a binder 220. Binder material 238a is led from spindle-supported cup 237 through opening 239 in a separately driven cup 241. To maintain constant binder material tension, the cup speed is varied with reducing cup diameter. Two binders 220 may be used, winding on binder material in the same or in opposite directions.
