Abstract

1356340 Binding electrical conductors SIEMENS AG 25 Oct 1971 [24 Oct 1970] 49528/71 Heading B8G A method of binding a group 4 of electrical conductors 1 using tape 2 having, extending along the whole length of one face, a band of adhesive 5 the width of which is about half that of the tape, the remainder of said one face being free of adhesive, in which method the tape 2 is wound round and along the group 4 with the adhesive facing the conductors and in some turns of it after the first the adhesive contacts only the outer face of the preceding turn. As shown, in the first turn 6 only, the adhesive contacts the conductor 1, whereas subsequently the adhesive only contacts the outer face of a preceding turn to form a sheath.
