Tool-holders; gauging-devices.-A tool-holder formed from a rectangular bar a has a longitudinal hole and is split at c to enable a cylindrical tool f to be clamped therein, either bv a screw collar d or a screw-actuated wedge, or by a simple screw. The hole may be of different diameter at each end to accommodate different sizes of tools, and may have two bores to receive two tools acting at once. The tool-holder may be recessed to receive the securing-collar, or the collar may be adjustable along it to form a depth gauge during boring operations. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 615/96 and 13394/04.
