1401445 Simulating a dusty atmosphere INDUSTRIAL FAN & HEATER CO Ltd 1 Nov 1972 [18 Nov 1971] 53507/71 Heading G1S An apparatus for subjecting parts to a simulated dusty atmosphere comprises a mesh 11 on which the parts are supported, a fan 14 for circulating air past the parts, openings (not shown) for introducing granular material into the circulating air, a pair of separators 17, 18 for removing at least part of granular material from the air, a heater 19 and a cooler 20. The granular material removed in the separators 17, 18 is returned to the airstream downstream of the heater 19 and cooler 20 by means of conduits 21, 22.
