Up to 6% of So 3 <SP>--</SP>; 1-5% C 4 AF and an amount of in all less than 10% at least one of bicalcium silicate, CO 3 Ca, CO 3 Mg and SiO 2 can also be present. Limes and marls are proportioned suitably, ground, granulated, fired at 1250- 1500‹ C., and the resulting clinker ground, e.g. to 2000-6000 cm.<SP>2</SP>/g. The binder is used to stabilize silts.
