Abstract
1401372 Cements CIMENTS LAFARGE 30 Jan 1973 [12 May 1972] 4499/73 Heading C1H A binder has the mineralogical composition, according to Bogne's formula, of quicklime 10-60%; C 3 S 30-80% and C 3 A 1-15%. Up to 6% of So 3 <SP>--</SP>; 1-5% C 4 AF and an amount of in all less than 10% at least one of bicalcium silicate, CO 3 Ca, CO 3 Mg and SiO 2 can also be present. Limes and marls are proportioned suitably, ground, granulated, fired at 1250- 1500‹ C., and the resulting clinker ground, e.g. to 2000-6000 cm.<SP>2</SP>/g. The binder is used to stabilize silts.
