Abstract

1400989 Pin units for faller bars IMPROVED FALLERS Ltd 2 Jan 1974 00131/74 Heading D1N A pin unit for a faller bar is preassembled by forming a groove 3 in the side face of each pin near the butt end thereof, a strip 3 of e.g. wire then being located in the slots and held in place by adhesive tape; The pin unit can then be inserted in a faller bar body 7 and secured by a plastics or resinous material. This material may be inserted by an injection moulding technique e.g. through openings 10, Fig. 7. Two pin units can be employed in faller bars having two rows of teeth. Specifications 919873 and 967802 are referred to.
