Cases, watch.-In wristlet watches, the flexible strap is attached to the watch in such a way as to conceal it in part and so give a relatively large watch the appearance of being a small one. In Fig. 2, the rim b is shown considerably smaller than the rectangular watch case, and clamps in position the flexible strap c, which has a circular aperture cut in it to receive the rim b and allow the indicating-dial to be seen. In the form shown in Fig. 4, the straps are attached to the watch case adjacent to a rim h, which is integral with the case.
