Abstract

1399845 Mattresses &c. DAHMER QUEST & CO 22 March 1973 [22 March 1972] 13870/73 Heading A4M A bed or the like comprises an inner frame 3 adjustably mounted within an outer frame 1 and a plurality of springy wooden slats 4 releasably attached to the inner frame sides by flexible straps 5 of rubber or resilient plastics. Each strap 5 has an integral stud with barbed peripheral rings 50a which may snap into a corresponding hole 33 in the inner frame. Alternatively Fig. 6, (not shown), the stud may be slidably engaged in a longitudinal slot (34) in the inner frame and selectively located in one of a plurality of recesses (35) spaced along one side of the slot (34). The strap 5 also has an integral bolt 52 or bolts with an integral cross-bar 53. The bolt 52 is engaged with a slot 40 in a slot 4, the slot 40 being elongate transversely of the length of the slot 4.
