Abstract

1399693 Rotary harrows C VAN DER LELY NV 12 April 1973 [19 April 1972] 17740/73 Heading A1B A harrow is sustained from the ground by supporting members 17 or 23, having a width not less than the distance between the vertical axes of adjacent soil-working members 3 and preferably about twice that distance. The roller 17 may be a low-pressure type (Fig 1) or a cage-type roller and the height of the axis is varied by adjustment of the arms 15 which pivot about pins 14A. In another embodiment the supporting member is in the form of a skid 23 (Fig 5) which pivots about pins 24 and is adjusted by the screw 27. A spring 28 allows some upward movement against resilient opposition.
