Abstract
1399404 Electro-photographic process CANON KK 3 Nov 1972 [4 Nov 1971] 50699/72 Heading G2H [Also in Division B6] In an electro-photographic process wherein an electrostatic latent image formed on an electrophotographic plate is developed with a liquid developer and the developed image is transferred to a copy material the depth of developer remaining on the plate after development is controlled such that it is from 5Á to 30Á during the transfer step. After transfer the plate is cleaned e.g. with a blade roller or brush so that the depth of liquid developer remaining therein is less than 1Á. The depth of developer is controlled using a corona discharge device.
