1398485 Reciprocating pumps and motors ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 19 April 1973 [22 April 1972] 19112/73 Heading F1A A radial cylinder pump or motor comprises a rotor 11 mounted on a stationary pintle 10 and pistons 16 engaging an eccentric track ring 14, the axes of the cylinders 15 and their ports 18 being parallel, and the inner ends of the cylinder ports 18 being peripherally offset relative to the cylinders in the direction of rotation A when operating as a pump, and the high pressure, pintle control groove 12 being offset towards the inner dead centre position Ti, thereby compensating for forces acting on one side of the pintle.
