Abstract

1397374 Door frames INDUSTRIE SECCO SpA 2 March 1973 [10 March 1972] 10282/73 Heading E1J An element for fixing a frame in an aperture comprises a part 1 having a projection 8 and a flange 6, the free edge of flange 6 being located between the projection and the aperture surface 2 when the element is in use. Two flanges 6 are pivoted to edges 4 on part 1. Tab 8 is cut out from part 1 and bent outwardly thus pivoting both flanges 6 outwardly, the edges of the tab and flanges being flattened against the surface 2. Tab 8 is secured to the wall by members (9). Sealing material 10 is applied. Alternatively flanges 6 and a plate (12) carrying tabs 8 may be welded to part 1. The part 1 receives a wing frame or outer fixed frame secured by screws (11).
