Abstract

1397335 Bobbins ANIC SpA and STAMPIPLASTIK DI OGGIONI 11 May 1972 [13 May 1971] 22236/72 Heading B8M A textile bobbin is made of a polymeric material comprising a copolymer of acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene having the following characteristics: (i) a surface hardness of not less than 70 Shore D, (ii) a modulus of elasticity under bending of not less than 10,000 kg/cm.<SP>2</SP>, and (iii) a yield point under traction of not less than 300 kg/cm.<SP>2</SP> The polymeric material may include a filler. The bobbin may include at one end a centring member and at the other end a terminal member for engaging a rotary spindle. The centring and terminal members may be separate from or integral with the body of the bobbin and may be of metal or ABS.
