Abstract

1396957 Photographic dye image-receiving material EASTMAN KODAK CO 24 Aug 1972 [24 Aug 1971] 39430/72 Heading G2C A dye image-receiving layer contains a dye mordant dispersed in a hydrophobic, alkali solution permeable polymer which is ethyl cellulose, a polyvinyl acetal, or a copolymer comprising units of co-polymerized acrylic acid, acrylamide, sulphoalkyl acrylate, sulphoalkyl methacrylate, alkyl acrylate or alkyl methacrylate. The mordant may be trioctyl propyl ammonium chloride. The layer may be 0À04 to 0À25 mil thick. The layer may be coated on a separate support and/or form part of a photo-sensitive film unit.
