Abstract

1395546 Flexible drive shafts KIENZLE APPARATE GmbH 27 July 1972 [29 July 1971] 35281/72 Heading F2U A mounting for holding a flexible shaft guide sleeve 1 comprises a bush 14 having first fingers 15, 16 to extend through a hole 13 in a mounting panel, and second fingers 17, 18 co-operating therewith to resiliently clamp the panel. The bush may be of resilient plastics and have stops 19 to limit insertion. The bush 14 may be on an end fitting 3 with screw threads 6 to engage a nut on an adjacent length of guide sleeve 8. Driving connection between drive shafts 1, 7 may be by inserting a square-section end 11 into a corresponding end socket 4. The fingers 15, 16 may engage rectangular enlargements of the otherwise circular hole 13.
