1395169 Tripods VISTA DISPLAY SIGNS Ltd 18 April 1973 [14 July 1972 27 Jan 1973] 32935/72 and 4296/73 Heading A4H [Also in Divisions El and G5] A tripod comprises three legs 2 hinged together at one end by a block 3 of elastomeric material, the block having bores 4 into each of which said one end of a respective leg is received, the legs 2 carrying one or more panels 10 of flexible material, e.g. canvas, capable of bearing or bearing a sign, such as a road sign. The ends are secured in the block by screws 5 that extend horizontally, perpendicular to and intersecting the axis of the leg. As shown, the block 3 is relaxed. To adapt to uneven ground, member 15 may be rotated about both axes Y-Y and Z-Z. Slot 18 and screw 20 may be replaced by a collar sliding on the third leg and hinged to member 15. To anchor the tripod, weights can be placed in a bag and the bag hooked on to the brace members.
