Abstract

1394969 Driving troughed conveyer belts FRIED KRUPP GmbH 28 Sept 1973 [30 Sept 1972] 45569/73 Heading B8A In a conveyer comprising a belt the troughed upper run 1 of which is supported by the upper runs 8 of driving belts, the upper run 8 of each driving belt runs over centering rollers 11 before passing round an end drum 10 and is relieved of the weight of the conveyer belt by sets 2 of troughing rollers. The return run 6 of the conveyer belt and the return run 12 of each driving belt are supported by rollers 7. Adjacent the other end drum 13 of each driving belt the return run 12 thereof is raised by centering rollers 14, whilst the upper run 1 of the conveyer belt runs over sets 3 of centering rollers prior to running over a drum 16 which holds the upper run 1 above the end drum 13. The driving belts are narrower than the conveyer belt and having wedge shaped edges. The driving belts are perforated to permit water to pass therethrough.
