A device for carrying out the method includes a tube 6 whose inner diameter corresponds to the external diameter of the coil 2 and supported on a mounting 10, a mouthpiece 12 for supplying hot flue gases to the interior of the pipe, and a outlet 14 for gases located at the other end of the pipe. A temperature range of 830‹ C. to 900‹ C. is referred to.
