Abstract

1394039 Conveyer trough sections WRIGHTS (GAMLINGAY) Ltd 27 Nov 1973 54925/73 Heading B8A A metal trough section for a conveyer trough has flanges 4; 5, 5; 6, 6; at its ends enabling it to be secured end to end to similar trough sections, the trough and flanges being formed from a single sheet of metal and the flanges being formed by bending them outwards at the end of the trough along lines enabling the trough to abut closely against similar troughs secured to its ends. The base of the trough may be semi-cylindrical but the preferred embodiment shown has five flat facets 1; 2, 2; 3; 3 and in a method of making embodiments with flat facets a single sheet of metal is bent so that each pair of adjacent facets include the same angle.
