1393475 Toothed gearing J D EGOROV I S KAVYAROV J P SAMATOV N A CHASOVODOV and J I CHIRIKHIN 13 June 1973 28043/73 Heading F2Q An output gearing unit for a tracked vehicle comprises a hub 6 secured to a frame 2 of the vehicle and having a projecting part 10, a housing 22 disposed on the hub 6, a pinion 20 supported by bearings 21 in the housing and connected by a splined connection 24 to a transmission shaft 25 of the vehicle, a gear 18 supported by bearings 26 in the housing 22, gears 14 supported by bearings 15 on the hub, a central gear 17 meshing the gears 14 and connected to the gear 18 by splines 19, the gears 14 being arranged circumferentially of the central gear 14, a track sprocket 8 rotatably mounted on the projecting part 10 of the hub, the projecting part having a free end between which and the sprocket a track roller frame 4 of the vehicle is pivotally mounted, and a ring gear 13 connected for rotation with the track sprocket 8 by a splined connection 12, the ring gear 13 meshing the gears 14. In a modification, a hub 6 is made in two parts to facilitate fabrication.
