Abstract

1393346 Suspended ceiling construction RONDO BUILDING SERVICES PTY LTD 26 June 1973 30425/73 Heading E1W Downwardly open elongate channel shaped runners 15 for suspension in a ceiling, supports a series of ceiling panel strips 19 by means of a plurality of discrete clips 20 locked in the channel by spring lugs 23. The clips retain the edge portions of the panel strips in generally L-shaped slots 21. The elongate gaps between the panel strips may be filled with infill strips 32 which may be provided with adjustable ventilation openings 36. Cornice strips (39) Fig 3 not shown may surround the ceiling and a sliding bracket on the end of the runners may support part of a panel strip at the edge of a ceiling which does not correspond to an integral number of panel strip widths, see Figs 3 and 5 (not shown)
