Abstract
1393252 Cigarette conveyer MOLINS Ltd 17 Aug 1972 [19 Aug 1971] 38992/71 Heading B8A Cigarettes are led upwardly between conveyers 2 and 4 preferably in a sinuous path, emerging from between the conveyers at the entrance to a shoot 10, but passing beyond the shoot entrance to conveyers 14 and 16 and thence to reversible reservoir conveyer 18 if the shoot is overloaded. Conveyer 18 supplies cigarettes to the shoot when required. Two part sensor 12 above the junction zone 8 controls the direction and speed of conveyers 14 and 16 in response to the volume of cigarettes in the junction zone.
