1392534 Suspension filing C E GRUNDELL 4 May 1972 20885/72 Heading B6E A suspension filing pocket formed from a cardboard or stiff paper sheet 1, Fig. 1, is retained by a folded bead in the groove 5 of a plastics suspension bar 6, Fig. 2, by forming the bead from folded sections defined between lines of weakness, pairs of the lines having different resistivities to bending which are obtained by punching slots 2 and spacing the slots by lengths 3, 4, whereby the shorter lengths 3 result in forming weaker fold lines. In another embodiment (Fig. 3), a triangular bead may be formed along an edge of the sheet and the fold lines have different resistivities to facilitate consecutive folding of the folded sections, whereby one side of the triangular bead is formed of double thickness. In a further embodiment (Fig. 4), there is illustrated an example of joining two edges of a sheet or sheets to form a suspension bead.
