1391850 Aqueous coating compositions MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL CO Ltd 25 April 1972 [28 April 1971] 19235/72 Heading C4A A coating composition for electronic parts comprises (a) a sol of which the dispersed phase consists of inorganic colloidal particles and the dispersion medium is an aqueous solution of a curable organosilane substituted with amino, epoxy or substituted amino or epoxy groups, and (b) a particulate filler comprising silica suspended in the sol. Preferred silanes are The colloid may be silica or mica, and the filler powdery silica with or without powdery alumina, talc, aluminium phosphate or calcium carbonate. The coating produced is non-flammable.
