1391241 Dyeing polyester materials YORKSHIRE CHEMICALS Ltd 25 May 1972 [3 June 1972] 26022/72 Heading D1B A carrier composition comprises at least one compound of formula: in which R is an aryl or aralkyl group and A may be optionally substituted by one or more substituents selected from Cl, Br, alkyl and alkoxy groups, (preferably R contains 2 to 6 carbon atoms) and at least one surfactant compound. The carrier compositions are used with cationic dyes to dye anionic polyester fibres, foils and films. The anionic polyester may be blended with unmodified polyesters which may be dyed with disperse dyes. Padding and printing techniques are employed.
