Abstract
1390943 Containers PACKARD INSTRUMENT CO Inc 20 Oct 1972 [26 Oct 1971] 48474/72 Heading B8C [Also in Division G1] A container for a liquid scintillator containing a radio-active isotope comprises a pair of layers 78, 80 of flexible light-transmissive, polyester film joined as to form a bag portion for the liquid, the container being fillable and sealable. The layers may be of polyethylene terephthalate and joined to leave a filling neck 84. Alternatively a self healing material may be employed to enable filling by a needle. A plurality of containers may be formed in a continuous strip or separate container may be mounted on a pair of wires (Fig. 6, not shown). The containers may carry data which can be mechanically, magnetically, optically or electrically read.
