1388882 Uniform catalyst and absorbent packing in multiple chamber columns TORAY INDUSTRIES INC 7 June 1972 [7 June 1971 16 June 1971] 26460/72 Headings B1F and B1L Apparatus comprising beds of packing material 1, Fig. 1, have sticks 10, Fig. 3, arranged across the beds to obtain uniform packing of the bed material when charged through loading holes 4. The packing may be alumina, quartz, active catalyst or absorbent such as active carbon, molecular sieve or silica gel. The separation of n-paraffin, olefin, paraxylylene and hydrogen is referred to.
