1388250 Capacitors SIEMENS AG 26 Sept 1973 [15 Nov 1972] 44987/73 Heading H1M In a wound capacitor comprising dielectric strips 4, 5 separating electrodes 2, 3 with lead wires 6 welded to them prior to winding, one electrode 3 extends beyond the periphery of electrode 2 in all directions, and electrode 2, which accordingly determines the capacitance, is manufactured by rolling flat a wire. The wire may be copper coated with silver and nickel and rolled to a width of less than 2 mm. Electrode 3 may be aluminium foil.
