Abstract

1386723 Photographic processing apparatus LOGETRONICS Inc 29 June 1973 [24 April 1973] 19471/73 Heading G2X A photographic film processor comprises at least one treatment tank for containing a chemical for processing said photographic film, a wash tank disposed the treatment tank, two rollers between the treatment and wash tanks for moving a sheet of film from the treatment tank to the wash tank, cleaning means for applying cleaning liquid on to rollers to remove residual processing chemical therefrom and means for directing the cleaning liquid flowing off the moving means into the wash tank. As shown, Fig. 1 a film is fed from an automatic film processor (17) having developer and fixer tanks (18, 19) into a wash tank 1 by means of squeegee rollers, 4, 5 which are washed with water from a spray 3 in a basin 2; this water is then deflected by a guide 11 down wall 1a of the tank. The tank is provided with an overflow 12 and a net 6 for removing the washed film. In an alternative embodiment Fig. 3 (not shown) a discharge pipe runs from the basin to wall of the tank.
