1386700 Substation apparatus STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd 11 May 1972 22129/72 Heading H4K A telephone dialling apparatus includes two oscillator circuits controlled by a common keyboard, depression of each key of which controls a frequency determining resistor network in each oscillator, the arrangement being such that the tones of each oscillator are separated by a fixed percentage band gap and simultaneous depression of two keys produces tones interlaced with the above tones. In the arrangement shown the resistor networks comprise seriesparallel arrangements of thin film resistors, each network being a plug-in unit.
