Abstract

1385826 Carpet covers; leg supports INTERPLASTIC-WERK GmbH 30 July 1973 [1 Aug 1972] 36124/73 Headings A4S and A4U [Also in Division B5] A carpet cover comprises a sheet of synthetic resin material having annular projections on its underface and a thickness between the projections of 2 to 4 mm. and the material having a Shore A hardness of 65 to 95. The material may be P.V.C., polyethylene or polypropylene, and the upper surface may be coated with a polyester resin. The edge of the sheet may be trimmed with a P.V.C. strip 3 for preventing an object, e.g. a chair on castors, from moving off the cover. The strip 3 may be formed by extrusion, then placed round the cover edge and welded at the join.
