Abstract
1384066 Preservative PFIZER Ltd 21 Dec 1972 [23 Dec 1971] 60034/71 Heading A2D [Also in Division C2] Isocitric lactone anhydride is used as a delayed release acidulant in food compositions e.g. sausages. The isocitric lactone anhydride may also be coated with an edible glyceride material e.g. animal or vegetable fat or hydrogenated oil, or an edible salt of a fatty acid and the coated isocitric lactone anhydride used as the delayed release acidulant.
