Abstract

1381634 Registering webs FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 24 May 1972 [27 May 1971] 24533/72 Heading B8R An axially movable holder for a roll core 21 comprises axially aligned, oppositely disposed, double acting rams 22, 23 having pistons 24, 25 with rods 26, 27 arranged to hold opposite ends of the roll core 21, means being provided for supplying a balance fluid pressure to one side of the piston of each ram to move the rods 26, 27 towards each other and hold the roll core therebetween, and for supplying unequal fluid pressures to the other side of each piston to move the roll core axially, e.g. in order to register the edge of a running web.
