Abstract

1381233 Rotary distributers GENERAL MOTORS CORP 25 Jan 1973 [22 Feb 1972] 3827/73 Heading H1N In an internal combustion engine ignition distributer having a plurality of output conductors 21-28, Fig. 3, corresponding to the number of spark plugs, the sparks are distributed from a fixed input circuit member 30 through a window 42 or a conductive insert in a rotor 45 of insulating material. The input member 30 comprises a conductive spider with radial arms 30a-30h aligned with the output conductors. In a modification the radial arms 30a-30h may be bent to form two parallel rings of ends opposite two sets of output conductors lying in two parallel planes, the rotor (70), Fig. 5 (not shown), having a pair of windows (72), (73) or inserts at different axial and radial locations.
