Abstract

1380233 Drying sheets or plates SCOTT PAPER CO 5 May 1972 [6 May 1971] 21012/72 Heading F4G [Also in Division G2] Toner images on electrophotographic members are dried by being placed on inclined foraminous members 65, 66 and subjected to a flow of air which passes over first one face, then the other, in its path from inlets 71 to outlets 74, 75. The toner images are formed by developing electrostatic latent images on the electrophotographic members in chamber 10, which contains a suspension of toner particles in a liquid, and are rinsed in chambers 11. After drying, the developed toner images may be fixed by fusing.
