1379592 Moulding tyres DUNLOP Ltd 5 May 1972 [15 May 1971] 15169/71 Heading B5A [Also in Division B7] Slots in a pneumatic tyre tread are moulded by blades 2 anchored to the tread moulding surface of a mould 1 and having their ends 5, 6 embraced by sleeves 3, 4 whereby the slot ends will be enlarged to a smoothly rounded profile. Each blade with its sleeves are anchored in a slot 7 and holes 8, 9 in the mould wall.
